From the beginning of my journey with Caitlyn and Kaan, it was a whirlwind romance. These two began their story with a modern day beginning: they met online and well, the rest was history. After a year of courtship, Kaan proposed (along with cooking Caitlyn a romantic dinner at home) and the two decided to elope in Las Vegas.

Caitlyn reached out to me maybe a few days before they were to come to Vegas for the weekend- it was true elopement style as she was planning everything within the span of those couple of days. When she reached out to me, she had a vision of a romantic, retro, classic day. She wanted long stemmed red roses for florals, the Pink Cadillac for their ceremony, burgers at In N Out to end the night and film photos sprinkled in to capture it all. I was completely in love and so excited to capture it all.

It really was one of the most perfect elopements and one of my favorite to capture for a few reasons: not only were they the two most sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, but Caitlyn and Kaan came to me with a vision of their day and knew what they wanted but allowed me the creative freedom to guide and capture these special moments. Together, we planned, we collaborated and made their elopement day vision come to fruition. It was perfect.
